Ladies & Gentlemen,
My name is Jean-Joseph Napoléon, owner of IRIS Photographie Studio, I’m a Wedding & Portrait photographer, based in Sunrise, Florida. My style of photography is simply making people feel and look their very best. I’m a student of classical portraiture with a touch of contemporary photography. Early on, I was fortunate to find and embrace my path and today I’m picking up from where I left off. Even though everything is new and different, the art of photography, at least to myself, remains the same. I’m not talking about what we see everyday on social media, but about the true essence of photography. Writing with light.
I’m going to do what I’ve always loved and along the journey I know that God will reward me with the right clientele. The name of the studio is no longer Jean-Joseph Napoléon, now it’s back to its roots IRIS Photographie Studio. I am wiser, calmer and more handsome.
There are a few important points that I want to share with you future clients:
1- All my portrait sessions come with a number of matted prints. I do not sell nor give away digital photos to clients except for Weddings, Headshots and Branding.
2- Soon my new website will be fully live and you will be able to navigate https://www.irisphotographie.art . In another post I will share with you my Booking and my Client Previews pages and show you how to use them.
3- All my Bookings are done online and there’s a binding contract to sign. If there is package that you would like to upgrade, feel free to call or email me at info@irisphotographie.art
4- I am available to bring the studio to your home if it’s in the vicinity of Sunrise and no more than thirty (30) miles. There’s a traveling fee for any session over the limit.
5- My journal at https://www.irisphotographie.art/journal will be a place where I will be posting everything related to the business and little bit about myself.
6- Communication is key to great planning. At first, you need to know what you’re looking for, then it’s the photographer’s job to decide if he or she is able to accomplish the assignment. Sometimes, the photographer might have the skills but it is not a genre of photography that he or she wants to do. Read the blog in the next few days as I will try to put my vision out in great details.
7- I favor muslin and canvas backdrops because they are a must in classical portraiture. I’m building a good collection to cover anything from light, medium to high key.
That’s all for now, stay blessed and happy shooting!
Jean-Joseph Napoléon
